After successfully exporting your teaching materials folder, you will see the folder in Projects.

Inside your teaching materials folder, you will find Slides.

With all materials ready, you can start creating your picture book teaching materials!

Step 1: Log in to Canva.com

Step 2: Click on “Projects” in the sidebar

Step 3: Select “Add New” in the top-right corner

Step 4: Choose “Import from App ⇒ Google Drive”

If it’s your first time using this feature, a notification will pop up. Simply click Link to proceed.


Step 5: Copy the file name and search for it

Click on the file, and once selected, the file background will turn dark gray, and the Upload button at the bottom will turn purple.


Step 6: File is being imported

The system will indicate that the file is being imported. Please wait patiently for about 10 seconds and avoid searching for the file immediately.


Step 7: Search for the file

Use the search bar at the top to input _slide or the project name to locate the file. Usually, the file name will include a .gslides extension.


Step 8: Open the file and start editing

Click on the file to open it and begin editing.


Step 9: Access the free library “irasutoya”

Click on Elements in the left sidebar and search for irasutoya.

Hover over any image, click the three dots in the top-right corner, and select View More.

After clicking View More, you will access the free library.
